Sony принимает очередные меры по поддержке своей игровой консоли PlayStation 3: компания будет частично компенсировать затраты на разработку и распространение игры взамен на ее эксклюзивность.
Об этом было объявлено на недавно прошедшей конференции Game Developers Conference. Программа по поощрению разработчиков была названа The Pub Fund. Эксклюзивные проекты не будут принадлежать Sony – разработчики будут полностью владеть всеми авторскими правами на игру и могут развивать ее как хотят, но игра должна выйти лишь на PS3. Первой игрой вышедшей по этой системе будет аркада Burn Zombie Burn, которая скоро должна появиться на сервисе PlayStation Network.
Таким методом Sony собирается бороться с главным конкурентам – консолью Xbox 360 от Microsoft, которая вышла раньше и имеет большее количество эксклюзивов.
